On Wednesday, May 15th, 2019, the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences at uOttawa will be hosting Professor David R. Liu, an HHMI Investigator from Harvard University, MIT, and the Broad Institute (www.liugroup.us). Dr. Liu will present the annual Lemieux Lecture at 11:30am in FSS 2005, and you are invited!

Dr. Liu is a maverick at the forefront of emerging genome editing technologies (CRISPR, etc.). In 2017, Nature Magazine tabbed him as one of their top 10 scientists in the world. We are extremely excited that Dr. Liu accepted our invitation to give a talk, and we look forward to welcoming him to uOttawa.
